Biography

Marie O. Easterlin, M.D., originally from Americus, Georgia, is a Board Certified gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Upon completing her undergraduate degree at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, Marie attended Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon and Savannah, Georgia. She then fulfilled her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Following residency, Marie worked in a private practice in New York City where her husband completed his fellowship in Plastic Surgery. After his fellowship, they were happy to return to their home state of Georgia.

In addition to her work with Women’s Health Group of Southeast Georgia, she provides care to women through the Family Planning program within the Coastal Health District at the Health Departments in Glynn and Camden counties. Marie is interested in women’s health outside of the United States as well. She has traveled to Nicaragua to assist women in a clinic setting suffering from cervical cancer and hopes to return in the future. Outside of work, Dr Easterlin enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband and two children.
